Six-Time Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall has found himself a new home. The veteran receiver has recently signed a two-year, $12 million deal with the New York Giants.

With the addition of Marshall, the Giants will have a huge bounce back year offensively, after ranking 26th in the league in scoring with 19.4 PPG. Eli Manning will now have two elite receivers to throw the ball to, and not only that, he also has a talented young receiver in Sterling Shepard, who has potential to become a star.
Nobody should be happier about this move than star WR Odell Beckham Jr. While having a productive season last year, with a total of 1,367 yards, to go with 10 touchdowns, Odell’s productivity this year will rise significantly, with B-Marsh drawing coverage from Odell, freeing him up from double coverage, allowing him to take advantage of single coverage matchups.
The reason for Marshall’s down year in 2016, is because he had Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bryce Petty, and Geno Smith throwing him the ball. No doubt about it, Ryan Fitzpatrick was the worst starting Quarterback in the league last season, turning over the ball 23 times in just 14 starts!
Despite Marshall’s disappointing performance last season, don’t forget about the season before that with the Bears, where B-Marsh had a spectacular year, totaling 1,502 yards, along with 14 touchdowns.
Upgrading from Ryan Fitzpatrick to an experienced two-time Super Bowl Champion at quarterback, Brandon Marshall will have an incredible year. Furthermore, the pressure will no longer be on Brandon Marshall, as he is now the second receiver on his team, facing easier matchups.
At 6’4, expect B-Marsh to have a ton of redzone targets, giving the Giants height at the wide receiver position
Not only will the Giants have a great offense, but their defense will do just as well, if not better than last season.
The Giant’s defense was ranked one of the best last season, with Landin Collins emerging as one of the best safeties in the league. CB Janoris Jenkins also had a huge year, being able to contain any WR thrown at him.
Expect the Giants to a have a huge year, possibly being a Super Bowl contender.
